Towards a barrier-free Nature Park

Everyone is talking about demographic change. The population in Germany and also in our region is getting older and older. Therefore, accessibility will be an important quality criterion for tourism regions in the future. But the regional population will also measure the quality of life by whether shopping, local authorities, recreational facilities, public transport, etc. can be done without barriers.

 Accessibility is already here:

• urgently needed for 10% of the Population

• for 30-40% a necessity

• 100% comfortable.

Lüneburg Heath Nature Park aims to develop a greater understanding of accessibility in the region and to support the implementation of measures to reduce barriers. Therefore, we collect important information on the subject of "Accessibility" on this page.
